
Rahimi: "We Understand the Magnitude of Our Responsibility and Will Go to the World Cup Aiming for the Title"
Soufiane Rahimi, a player for the Moroccan national team, affirmed that the "Atlas Lions" will head to the 2026 World Cup finals with the ambition of competing for the title. He also sent a message to Moroccan fans, urging them to continue supporting the national team.
Speaking to the press after the friendly match between the Moroccan national team and Madagascar, Rahimi stated: "The World Cup is not played every time, and every player dreams of participating in it. We understand the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon us, and I hope the fans continue to support this group and back them even more."
He added: "We will go to the United States of America, God willing, to give everything we have and make the Moroccan people happy. The Moroccan national team, as everyone knows, is no longer an easy opponent, and we will go to the World Cup with the aim of competing for the title."
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Madagascar yesterday, Tuesday, in a match held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, as part of their preparations for the World Cup finals.
