
Morocco Defeats Madagascar (3-0) in World Cup 2026 Preparatory Friendly
The Moroccan national team secured a 4-0 victory over their Malagasy counterparts in a friendly match played this Tuesday evening, as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Morocco opened the scoring early through Ismael Saibari in the 4th minute of the first half of the encounter, which took place at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The "Atlas Lions" maintained their dominance throughout the match, with Saibari returning to net his second goal in the 25th minute.
After the break, the Moroccan team sought to extend their lead, creating several chances before Soufiane Rahimi converted a penalty in the 78th minute for the third goal. Ayoub El Kaabi then added the fourth in the 87th minute.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team is placed in Group C of the World Cup, alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
