Talbi: 'I Chose Morocco After Long Deliberation, World Cup a Dream Come True'
Moroccan international Shamseddine Talbi, a player for English club Sunderland, confirmed that his decision to represent the "Atlas Lions" came after a period of deliberation between Morocco and Belgium regarding his senior national team future.
Speaking in an interview with English magazine "The National," Talbi stated: "At some point, I had to choose between Belgium and Morocco to represent the senior national team. Both teams wanted to know my decision, and I took a long time to think about it."

Continuing his remarks about the Moroccan national team, he said: "Morocco is like a family, and over the years, they have built something special. I visit Agadir often to maintain my roots."

He remarked: "Just being with the team and living those moments, and playing in the Africa Cup of Nations on our home soil in Morocco, was extremely impactful."
