
Taknaouti: "I've Played 7 or 8 Matches Against Sundowns, We'll Do the Impossible to Win the Champions League"
Reda Teknaouti, goalkeeper for AS FAR, affirmed that his team will do everything possible to win the CAF Champions League title in their upcoming clash against South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
Speaking in an interview with FIFA's official website, Teknaouti stated: "The final against Mamelodi Sundowns is not just for playing, as we say, but for winning. Our goal is to win the CAF Champions League title."
He added: "I have played seven or eight times against Sundowns. They are a very good team with top-level players. We, AS FAR, also have excellent players, and we will do the impossible to lift the trophy, God willing."
It is worth noting that the first leg of the Champions League final will take place on May 17 in Pretoria, South Africa, while the return leg will be held on Sunday, May 24, at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
