Harimat Returns, Teknaouti Included in FAR Squad for Pyramids Clash in Egypt
AS FAR has received a significant boost ahead of their highly anticipated clash against Egyptian side Pyramids FC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, with the return of several key players to their squad.
Albotola has learned from a special source that the military club's delegation will depart for Egypt on Thursday morning via a private plane. This arrangement aims to prevent player fatigue and ensure optimal travel conditions ahead of the crucial encounter.
The traveling squad will feature the return of captain Rabie Harimat, who missed the first leg due to suspension. Goalkeeper Reda Teknaouti will also be included, despite the lingering effects of an injury sustained during the first leg. This injury originated from a collision with Anas Bach during their Botola Pro match against Ittihad Touarga.
The team is scheduled to hold two training sessions upon their arrival in Egypt: one on Thursday and another on Friday, to finalize their preparations before the match.
The second leg between the two teams is set for next Saturday, kicking off at 4:00 PM GMT. AS FAR will need to secure a victory to book their place in the next round.
