Al-Khelaifi After PSG Qualification: "We Don't Just Have Players, We Have Warriors"
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, President of Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his immense joy at his team's qualification for the UEFA Champions League final, affirming the club's desire to win the title for the second time in its history.
Speaking to "Canal+" after the 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, Al-Khelaifi stated: "It's wonderful... We will play our second final. We want to go for the second star. We don't just have players, we have warriors, and we have a strong team."
He added: "Bayern Munich is a great team with great players, and it was a wonderful match for us. We made history here last year, and we want to continue writing the history of Paris Saint-Germain."
He continued: "Our goal is to win the title for the second time. The real star is the team; everyone wants to fight. This is football, and this is Paris Saint-Germain. We have the best coach in the world and the best fans. We only heard our fans this evening; they are the best."
It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the Champions League final, benefiting from their 5-4 aggregate victory over Bayern Munich in the semi-final first leg. They are set to face English club Arsenal in a match scheduled for May 30 at 17:00 GMT+1.
