Bayern Honorary President Hoeness: Hakimi Would Be Perfect Fit
Bayern Munich's honorary president, Uli Hoeness, stated that if he were asked to sign a player from Paris Saint-Germain, he would choose Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi, whom he believes would be a perfect fit for the Bavarian team.
Hoeness told German-speaking channel DAZN: "A player I would choose from Paris Saint-Germain? Achraf Hakimi. I would sign him immediately because he would fit our team perfectly."
He continued, speaking about the first leg match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich (which ended 5-4): "As a Bayern fan, after all the goals we conceded, I wondered, 'Will we really win?'"
He then added: "As a neutral fan, I saw it as a true advertisement for football. Two attacking teams, and nine goals in a semi-final – we haven't seen anything like that before."
It is worth noting that Bayern Munich will host Paris Saint-Germain at the Allianz Arena tomorrow, Wednesday (20:00 GMT+1), for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
