Hakimi Sidelined for 2-3 Weeks After Hamstring Tear
Medical examinations conducted on Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, the Paris Saint-Germain full-back, have revealed a hamstring tear.
RMC Sport reported that Hakimi will miss the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich and is expected to return to action in two and a half to three weeks.
The same source indicated that Hakimi's participation with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup is not threatened, as his absence period will not exceed approximately three weeks.
Hakimi had fallen to the ground in the 89th minute of the match between PSG and Bayern Munich after a challenge on Konrad Laimer. He appeared to be in pain, clutching his right thigh, but was forced to continue the match with difficulty as coach Luis Enrique had already used all available substitutions.
