El Taïr After Olympic Safi Win: "We Achieved a Deserved and Valuable Victory as We Hadn't Won Since February"
Hassania Agadir coach Hilal El Taïr expressed his delight following his team's 2-1 victory over Olympique Safi in their Botola Pro matchday 18 encounter.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, El Taïr stated that the win was "deserved and valuable," despite the challenges his team faced during the game. He also noted that the team's goal had conceded repeated goals in recent matches.
El Taïr explained, "For the third consecutive time, our net conceded goals where we had a significant share in the blame, but after that, we dominated the match and controlled the ball."
He added that the confrontation was evenly balanced at times, stating, "The points from this match were non-negotiable, and that's what happened. They succeeded in managing the game with the experience of their players and coach."
He continued, "In the second half, we changed our playing style, and fortunately, we managed to convert our chances into goals."
El Taïr also highlighted the significance of this victory after a period of negative results, clarifying, "We hadn't won since the first week of February, so this victory is precious."
Hilal El Taïr concluded by emphasizing the need to work on physical recovery before the next match. He stated, "We will dedicate a large percentage of training sessions to regaining physical freshness and recovery, and if possible, we will rotate players as much as we can without affecting the team's balance."
