The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed the officiating crew for the second leg of the CAF Champions League final, which will feature Morocco's AS FAR (Al-Jaish Al-Malaki) and South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns.

Al-Botola has learned from sources within CAF that the match will be led by Somali referee Omar Qartaan. He will be assisted by Djibouti's Ahmed Liban Abdoulrazack as the first assistant and Kenya's Stephen Onyango as the second assistant. Kenya's Peter Kamaku will serve as the fourth official.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) operations will be overseen by Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea, assisted by Viana Leiticia from Eswatini and Ali Sado Brahmo from Niger.

It is worth noting that CAF has once again selected Somali referee Omar Qartaan to officiate a CAF Champions League final. He previously managed last season's final between Pyramids FC and Mamelodi Sundowns in Cairo.
