Munir El Haddadi: "Morocco is a Strong Team Capable of Reaching the World Cup Final and Even Winning the Title"
Former Moroccan international Munir El Haddadi, currently playing for Iranian club Esteghlal, believes the Moroccan national team possesses a distinguished group of young players capable of achieving significant accomplishments at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking to DAZN, El Haddadi stated, "The Moroccan national team has many very good young players; they possess great talent, and this has become clear now."
He added, "I believe the Moroccan team has a very strong composition, excellent players, and as we've seen previously, they performed well. Perhaps they were unlucky at certain moments, but they reached the furthest point."
Continuing to praise the ambitions of the "Atlas Lions," he remarked, "I see that they have a strong team, and if things go well, they can reach the World Cup final and even win the title."
When asked about a potential final between Spain and Morocco and where his loyalties would lie, he replied with a smile, "I hope the best team wins."
