Flick: "Winning La Liga in El Clásico? What matters to me is winning it as soon as possible"
Hansi Flick, Barcelona's coach, held a press conference following the victory over Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, where he addressed the team's standing in the La Liga title race. Flick affirmed that the team has not yet clinched the league title, stressing the importance of full concentration in the remaining fixtures. He stated, “We haven't celebrated anything yet, and there are still five matches remaining,” clarifying that their focus remains on securing the title, despite the points gap separating them from Real Madrid.
The coach also emphasized the need to disregard calculations regarding the timing of the title celebration, stating that his goal is “to win the title as soon as possible, and we should celebrate when the achievement is made.”
In his brief responses, Flick specifically praised player Pedri González, describing him as a “great player” and his performance as “very good.” He also commended English player Marcus Rashford, expressing his “happiness with the goal and the match he delivered.”
