Ronaldo's Former Chef Reveals Fitness Secrets: No Milk, Sugar, or Bread
Giorgio Barone, former personal chef to Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed the dietary secrets that the Al-Nassr player relies on to maintain his physical fitness throughout his career.
Barone, who served as Ronaldo's private chef during his time with Italian club Juventus, explained in an interview with the "Covers" website that the secret to his physical superiority primarily stems from strict lifestyle discipline, avoiding sugar, fast food, and late nights.
Barone stated, "Ronaldo never eats fast food, even on holidays. No sugar, not even in coffee; sugar is poison for our bodies, and no milk."
He continued, "If he needs carbohydrates, he gets them from vegetables, as he doesn't need anything made from flour. He says no pasta, no bread, no similar foods."
He noted that the Portuguese star typically consumes avocado, eggs, and coffee in the morning, while his lunch and dinner usually consist of chicken, fish, vegetables, and meat.
