Jesus: "Ronaldo's Injury More Serious Than Expected, He Has Left for Spain for Treatment"
Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus revealed that the injury sustained by team captain Cristiano Ronaldo is more serious than initially anticipated, necessitating the player's travel to Spain for treatment.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Neom match, Jesus stated, “Ronaldo’s injury is more difficult than we expected. He will miss the matches against Neom and Al Khaleej, so we decided, in coordination with the medical staff, for him to travel to Madrid for treatment.”
The Portuguese coach added, “Cristiano departed with his personal doctor to Spain, and this will help him recover and return quickly. I will make the final decision regarding the player who will replace him.”
Al Nassr had previously announced that Ronaldo suffered a muscle injury in the team's last match in the Roshn Saudi League and would begin a rehabilitation program, undergoing continuous evaluation until his return to collective training.
