FIFA Announces New Batch of 2026 World Cup Tickets Available Tomorrow
FIFA has announced a new phase for the sale of 2026 World Cup tickets, with tickets for all 104 matches becoming available to the public tomorrow, Wednesday, starting at 5:00 PM (GMT+1).
FIFA clarified that this initiative falls under the “Last-Minute Sales Phase,” which will continue until the end of the tournament. Tickets will be released progressively and continuously, subject to availability, leading up to the final match scheduled for July 19.
Upon release, tickets will be available in Categories 1, 2, and 3, in addition to front-row seats, depending on the specific match. Fans will have the option to select seats directly via stadium maps or use an automatic booking option for the best available seat. Electronic queues are anticipated due to the high demand for sales.
The international federation confirmed that its official website is the only authorized platform for purchasing tickets. Additionally, an official resale and exchange platform will continue to be provided for fans, ensuring a secure and organized process. FIFA has also made special hospitality packages available, including tickets and an exclusive attendance experience, through its dedicated official website.
The statement noted that over 5 million tickets have already been sold for this edition of the tournament, which will feature 48 teams and span 39 days. This edition is expected to be the largest in World Cup history.
FIFA also cautioned fans that purchasing tickets does not guarantee entry into the host countries. It urged them to verify the specific entry requirements for the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and to submit visa applications well in advance.
