Renaissance Berkane Announces Lamine Camara's Transfer to Al-Ahly Tripoli Following Official Agreement
Moroccan club RS Berkane announced on Monday the completion of Lamine Mamadou Camara's transfer to Libyan side Al Ahly Tripoli, following an official and final agreement between the two clubs.
The "Orange Club" published a statement on its official Facebook account, which read: "RS Berkane announces that it has reached an official and final agreement with Al Ahly Tripoli, stipulating the transfer of player Lamine Mamadou Camara to the Libyan team, as part of an agreement that serves the interests of all parties."
The statement continued: "On this occasion, the management of RS Berkane extends its sincere thanks to Al Ahly Tripoli club, its president and management, for their positive response and interaction on this matter, which contributed to the success of this deal."
Al Ahly Tripoli had previously announced the signing of the Senegalese player on a two-and-a-half-year contract, which will keep him in the Libyan league until the summer of 2028.
Camara had reportedly agreed with Al Ahly Tripoli to pay his release clause with RS Berkane during the final moments of the winter transfer window. His registration was initially delayed, but the issue has now been officially resolved.
