
Mauritanian and Gabonese Officials to Oversee AS FAR vs. RS Berkane Champions League Derby
The Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a Mauritanian refereeing crew to officiate the first leg of the Moroccan derby between RS Berkane and AS FAR, part of the CAF Champions League semi-final.
Mauritanian international referee Dahane Beida will lead the match, assisted by Angolan Jerson Dos Santos and Cameroonian Elvis Nguegoue. Mauritanian Abdel Aziz Bouh will serve as the fourth official.
The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties for the match have been assigned to Tunisian Haythem Guirat, assisted by Ghanaian Daniel Laryea (AVAR).
The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
The return leg will take place at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane on Saturday, April 18, also at 8:00 PM (GMT+1). Gabonese referee Pierre Atcho will officiate the second leg. The VAR will be Kenyan Peter Kamaku, with Cameroonian referee Carine Fomo serving as the Assistant VAR.
