RS Berkane player Amine El Azri expressed his pride at the presence of two Moroccan teams in the CAF Champions League semifinals, stating that his teammates will strive to achieve a good result against AS FAR.
In press statements, El Azri said: "It is an honor for Moroccan football that the CAF Champions League semifinals are played between two Moroccan teams, and that a Moroccan team will be in the final. Morocco has good clubs, and we will try to achieve a positive result."
He added: "Moroccan fans love football and spare no effort in supporting any team, big or small. Now we are playing for the country's flag, not just a city."
The CAF Champions League semifinals will feature an all-Moroccan clash between RS Berkane and AS FAR, guaranteeing a Moroccan team in the final.
RS Berkane will visit AS FAR on one of April 10, 11, or 12 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, with the return leg scheduled for April 17, 18, or 19 at Berkane Municipal Stadium.
