Olympique Safi Coach El Khatoui Praises Players for Victory Amidst Fatigue After Wydad and RS Berkane Matches
Tunisian coach Chokri El Khatoui of Olympique Safi expressed his delight following his team's 3-1 victory over Ittihad Yaacoub El Mansour in a postponed match from Week 11 of the Botola Pro Inwi.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, El Khatoui stated: "A big salute to my team's players for this victory despite the fatigue, after two matches against Wydad and one against Renaissance Berkane. The trip to Rabat was not easy, and we also had to contend with the absence of players like El Khannouss and El Marsli."
He added: "We've had many injuries recently, which led me to slow down the pace in the second half to preserve the result. I also feared aggravating existing injuries, and thankfully, we made our fans happy."
It is worth noting that Olympique Safi secured their second victory in the Botola Pro this season, climbing to 14th place in the league table with 11 points.
