Brazilian FA Negotiates World Cup Bonuses with Seleção Stars, Offering $1 Million Per Player for Title Win
Media sources have confirmed that the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is planning to offer a significant incentive to its national team players ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Each player is set to receive a financial bonus of up to one million dollars should the 'Seleção' clinch the title. This move aims to boost morale and motivate the players to achieve their sixth star.
The Brazilian newspaper 'Estadão' revealed that several key players, including Vinicius Jr., Alisson Becker, Danilo, Marquinhos, Casemiro, and Bruno Guimarães, played a prominent role in determining the bonus details. This involvement ensures that the terms are fair and motivating for everyone, with negotiations between the involved parties reportedly at an advanced stage.
This incentive comes as part of the Brazilian national team's preparations to achieve the best possible performance in the World Cup, following a long absence from the global winners' podium, amidst strong ambitions to reclaim the World Cup title.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian national team is placed in Group C of the World Cup, alongside Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland.
