Ancelotti After France Defeat: 'We Can Compete With the Best Teams and Will Fight With Full Energy in World Cup'
Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti affirmed that his team is capable of competing with the best teams in the world, following their 2-1 friendly defeat to France on Thursday evening.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Ancelotti stated, "I believe today's match clearly showed me one thing, which is that we are capable of competing with the best teams in the world, and I have no doubt about that."
He added, "Through today's game, we faced a very strong and high-quality team. We fought until the last minute to achieve victory against an opponent who was wasting time trying to secure the win."
"I am convinced that we will fight with all our energy in this World Cup," Ancelotti continued.
When asked about Neymar, the "Seleção" coach said, "Now we must talk about the players who were present, who played and gave their all, and put in a great effort, and I am satisfied with that."
It is worth noting that the Brazil national team is in Group C of the World Cup, alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti.
