Barcelona Holds Draw for Champions League Tickets Against Atlético Madrid
Spanish club Barcelona has conducted a draw to allocate tickets for their away UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Atlético Madrid. The club received 5,291 requests from its members for the available tickets for the fixture scheduled for April 14 at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium, significantly exceeding the allocated quota of just 2,336 tickets.
The draw, held in the presence of a notary, used the number 44,203 as the cut-off point to determine the winners who will have the opportunity to attend the match in the away section. Each ticket is priced at 50 euros. The Catalan club's management stipulated that fans must collect their tickets on the day of the match in the vicinity of the stadium in the Spanish capital, ensuring an organized entry process for those who officially applied through designated channels.
This away leg follows the first leg, which will be hosted at Spotify Camp Nou on April 8. The current capacity of the Catalan stronghold stands at 62,000 spectators. These organizational measures come amidst significant fan desire to accompany the team in the advanced stages of the continental competition, despite the limited number of seats available for visiting fans in opponents' stadiums, in accordance with UEFA regulations.
