Postponed Fixtures Chaos Exposes League Management's Disorganization Under Belqchour
Widespread criticism has been directed at the President of the National Professional Football League, Abdeslam Belqchour, following the confusion surrounding the scheduling of postponed matches from the tenth round of the "Inwi" Professional League. This incident has reignited debate over the league's scheduling management.
The League had announced on Sunday evening the rescheduling of the postponed matches for Wednesday and Thursday. However, it later reversed this decision after receiving correspondence from several clubs, including Wydad AC and AS FAR, requesting postponements due to more than three of their players being called up for international duty during the international break.
The League's subsequent statement, however, intensified the controversy. It claimed to have secured the approval of the concerned clubs before announcing the schedule, which raised questions about the nature of this consent—whether it was verbal or written—in the absence of official clarification on the matter.
This inconsistency reflects a state of improvisation and disorganization in the management of the competition, particularly concerning scheduling. This places the League and its president under scrutiny and opens the door for demands for greater transparency to ensure the principle of equal opportunities among clubs.
