Atlético Madrid Transforms Stadium into Historic Pub to Promote New Peaky Blinders Film
Spanish club Atlético Madrid has announced a collaboration agreement with global streaming platform Netflix to promote the upcoming "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" film, set for release in 2026. This partnership aims to boost the launch of the new cinematic production by organizing a wide range of interactive activities that evoke the atmosphere of the popular series within the Spanish club's home ground.
The Cívitas Metropolitano stadium will be transformed into a replica of the historic Garrison Tavern pub during the team's match against Getafe on March 14, 2026. The initiative will include bringing characters from the "Peaky Blinders" universe to life throughout the stadium all day, alongside a classic car exhibition and historical-themed activities around the stadium's North Stand.
This event will see the stadium's private boxes converted into "The Garrison Pub," while the electronic scoreboards will display the film's promotional advertisement during halftime. Furthermore, several Atlético Madrid players participated in filming a short movie set in the series' world, which will be broadcast across the club's official channels and the global platform.
Organizers will offer souvenirs to fans passing through the North Stand sector, including classic hats and newspapers from that historical era, along with a specially themed barbershop near the stadium. This event is part of Netflix's plan to promote one of its most prominent initial cinematic offerings in 2026, focusing on integrating the world of football with global drama.
