Official: Maimoun Mokhtari Named New Ittihad Touarga Coach
Ittihad Touarga Club has announced the appointment of national coach Maimoun Mokhtari as the new head coach for the first team, succeeding Abdelwahed Zamrat.
In an official statement, the club clarified that this decision aligns with a prior agreement made with Zamrat. His resignation, submitted immediately after the eighth round of the Botola Pro Inwi, included a stipulation that he would continue his duties until the end of the first half of the season to ensure team stability.
The executive board confirmed that Abdelwahed Zamrat has been granted a period of rest in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure, with plans to assign him other technical roles within the club at a later date.
Conversely, Ittihad Touarga's management decided to entrust the team's coaching role to Maimoun Mokhtari, citing his familiarity with the club, having previously served as part of the first team's technical staff for two seasons.
