Tudor has drawn severe criticism for his decision to substitute young goalkeeper Antonin Kinski in the 17th minute of the match.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper had made two errors in his European debut, leading to the early substitution. However, the criticism extended beyond the technical aspect, focusing on Tudor's perceived failure to offer support to his young player as he left the pitch.
The incident provoked angry reactions from former football stars. Former England international Steve McManaman stated: "This behavior represents the worst kind of human management. This goalkeeper had a disastrous night after his coach chose him, and it was sad that he didn't say a single word to him or give him the necessary support at that critical moment."
Similarly, former Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart expressed his shock at the lack of a human element, stating that "what he saw broke his heart." Hart believes the coach didn't even attempt to console his goalkeeper, who was clearly going through difficult and undoubtedly unintentional moments.
This crisis comes at a time when the team has been experiencing a sharp decline in results since Tudor's appointment on February 14. The club has suffered four consecutive defeats and conceded 14 goals in its recent matches.
