Tottenham Officially Sacks Coach Thomas Frank Amid Poor Results
English club Tottenham Hotspur announced on Wednesday the dismissal of head coach Thomas Frank from his position, following a series of negative results.
The English club issued a statement, which read: "The Club has decided to make a change to the position of men's first-team coach, with Thomas Frank departing his role with immediate effect."
It continued: "Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we were keen to give him the necessary time and support to build a shared future project. However, results and performance have led the Board to conclude that a change at this stage of the season has become necessary."
Tottenham finds itself in a worrying situation, having lost at home to Newcastle United (1-2) yesterday, Tuesday. The club currently sits 16th in the league table with 29 points from 26 matches, moving closer to the relegation zone.
