The thrilling encounter between Tottenham Hotspur and visitors Manchester United ended in a 2-2 draw, as part of the 11th round of the English Premier League.

The match saw Moroccan player Noussair Mazraoui make his first start in over a month, before being substituted in the 59th minute. He had previously played only 13 minutes as a substitute against Nottingham Forest in the previous round, and prior to that, he had missed two matches due to injury and was an unused substitute in two others.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 32nd minute through Bryan Mbeumo. In the second half, a goal scored by Brennan Johnson for Tottenham in the 62nd minute was disallowed for offside.

The match "ignited" in the final 20 minutes, with Tottenham managing to equalize in the 84th minute through a goal scored by Mathys Tel. His teammate Richarlison then added the hosts' second goal in the 90+1st minute.

Just as everyone expected a United defeat, Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt emerged to score the equalizer in the 90+6th minute, leading the referee to blow the final whistle with the score at 2-2.

With this result, Tottenham Hotspur raised their tally to 18 points, placing them third in the league table. Manchester United also reached 18 points, occupying seventh place.
