Serge Gnabry then netted in the 25th minute, ensuring Bayern went into halftime with a commanding 3-0 advantage.
Bayern Munich continued their relentless attack in the second half. Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson added the fourth goal in the 52nd minute. Olise then secured his brace and Bayern's fifth goal in the 64th minute, with Jamal Musiala completing the rout by scoring the sixth.
Atalanta managed to pull one back in the 90+3rd minute, with Mario Pasalic scoring a consolation goal.
This comprehensive victory puts the German side firmly in control of the tie, making them strong favorites to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals. The return leg is scheduled to take place at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday at 20:00 GMT.
