Harimat After Wydad Victory: "Champion's Character Emerges in Such Matches, Why Not All Titles This Season?"
Rabie Harimat, AS FAR player, praised his team's performance against Wydad AC in the postponed ninth round of the Professional League, noting that a champion's character emerges in such major confrontations.
Harimat stated in a televised interview: "We deserved to win against Wydad AC. The opponent is a strong team and was leading the standings, but AS FAR is a great team capable of facing any opponent away from home, as we confirmed in the CAF Champions League. We came to Casablanca to earn the three points. The character of a champion appears in such big matches."
He added: "I thank the fans who supported us despite Ramadan, and I believe that Moroccan football followers enjoyed the match. We initially allowed the opponent possession before taking control of the game. We are trying to find our rhythm match after match, and we hope to make our mark this year, and why not win all possible titles, God willing."
He continued: "Everyone knows that Wydad is a great team, plays beautiful football, and has quality players in front of their fans. But this is where the character of a champion emerges. The AS FAR jersey carries significant weight, and our fans are demanding, accepting nothing less than victory, whether in the CAF Champions League or the Professional League."
He concluded: "This is just the beginning, and we will try to deliver beautiful matches, because AS FAR fans, over the past five or six years, have become accustomed to both performance and results, and they are not satisfied with just the result."
