Potential CAF Champions League Semifinal Clash Between AS FAR and RS Berkane
The CAF Champions League quarter-final draw was conducted moments ago at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters in the National Teams Center in 6th of October City.
The draw set up a familiar encounter between Morocco's AS FAR and Egypt's Pyramids FC. The first leg will be played in Rabat, with the return leg scheduled to take place in Egypt.
In another quarter-final tie, RS Berkane is set to face Sudan's Al-Hilal. The first leg will be hosted in Berkane, while Al-Hilal will determine the venue for the second leg.
Looking ahead to the semifinals, the winner of the AS FAR vs. Pyramids FC clash (who will host the first leg) will meet the victor of the RS Berkane vs. Al-Hilal encounter (who will host the second leg).
AS FAR secured their spot in the quarter-finals after finishing second in their group with 9 points, behind Egyptian giants Al Ahly. RS Berkane also qualified as group runners-up, accumulating 12 points.
