Vinicius: "Ancelotti is the best thing that happened to me; he calls me every time saying we will win the World Cup"
Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has affirmed his strong relationship with Carlo Ancelotti, his former coach at the club and current coach of the Brazilian national team. The winger noted that the Italian tactician is confident of winning the 2026 World Cup, which will be held across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Speaking about his coach, Vinicius said: "Ancelotti is the best thing that happened to me. He could be my grandfather. He treats us very well and knows how to maintain good relationships with the players."
He concluded by revealing: "He calls me every time and says: 'You know we're going to win the World Cup, right?'"
It is worth noting that the Brazilian national team will kick off its World Cup campaign by facing the Moroccan national team in Group C, which also includes Scotland and Haiti.
