
USM Alger Coach: "Olympique Safi Didn't Come for Tourism, But to Play a Great Match"
Tarek Hadj Adlane, head coach of USM Alger, expressed his satisfaction with the goalless draw against Olympique Safi in the sixth and final round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Hadj Adlane stated in the post-match press conference: "Our goal was to finish the group stage undefeated and maintain the top spot, and that's what we achieved. The players put in great efforts."
The Algerian team's coach added: "Olympique Safi didn't come for tourism; they came to play a big match."
It is worth noting that Olympique Safi finished the group stage in second place with 13 points, securing their qualification for the quarter-finals of the continental competition, alongside group leaders USM Alger, who accumulated 14 points.
