Olympique Safi to Travel to Algeria by Private Jet on Thursday for USM Alger Clash
Olympique Safi's delegation is set to depart Morocco for Algeria on Thursday via a private flight, in preparation for their anticipated match against USM Alger. This fixture is part of the sixth and final round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
The technical staff of Olympique Safi opted for a short preparatory camp in Casablanca, with players having moved there on Tuesday evening. This decision aims to provide optimal conditions before their official travel to Algeria.
Olympique Safi enters the upcoming match with high morale, following their crucial 2-1 victory over Djoliba AC of Mali in the previous round, a game hosted at Al-Massira Stadium.
Both teams have already secured their qualification for the next round. However, the clash in Algeria will determine the group winner, adding a strong competitive edge and intensity to the encounter between the two sides.
Algeria's USM Alger will host Olympique Safi next Saturday at the July 5, 1962 Stadium. USM Alger currently leads the group with 13 points, while the Moroccan representative has 12 points.
