Professional League Prepares to Schedule Postponed Matches Starting Next Week
The National Professional Football League is expected to begin scheduling postponed matches starting next week, following the conclusion of the group stage competitions in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
The professional league currently has a significant number of postponed matches, primarily involving teams participating in continental competitions. Leading this list is RS Berkane, with five postponed games, followed by Wydad AC with three matches. AS FAR and Olympique Safi also each have three postponed fixtures.
The League is anticipated to adopt an exceptional schedule in the coming period, with league matches being played twice a week, either mid-week or on weekends. This measure aims to catch up on the accumulated delays, especially given that the professional league is currently only around Week 12.
