Aboub (Olympique Safi Coach): "Our Goal is to Top the Group and Go Far in the Confederation Cup"

Zakaria Abboub, head coach of Olympique Safi, expressed his aspirations to go far in the CAF Confederation Cup and aim to top their group. His comments came ahead of their match against Djoliba AC of Mali, part of the fifth round of the continental tournament's group stage.

During the pre-match press conference, Abboub stated: "It is true that we have secured qualification, but we aspire to go far in the competition. To maintain our chances, we must manage the matches until the very end."

He continued: "We hope to finish as group leaders, and we have great hopes of progressing deep into this competition."

Abboub concluded: "The players are aware of the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon them, and I hope we achieve a positive result tomorrow, which will give us greater ambition before the final group stage match in Algeria."

Olympique Safi is set to host Djoliba AC tomorrow, Sunday, at 8:00 PM (GMT+1) at El Massira Stadium in Safi.
