
Ecuadorian FA President Confirms Friendly Against Morocco in Madrid Next March
Francisco Egas, President of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, has confirmed that the Ecuadorian national team will play a friendly match against the Moroccan national team as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Egas clarified that the match is scheduled for March 27 in the Spanish capital, Madrid, specifically at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium, home to Atlético Madrid.
In media statements, Egas stated that the encounter is part of his country's intensive preparations ahead of the World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada next summer.
Following the match against Morocco, Ecuador will face the Netherlands national team on March 31, with that game also taking place in Madrid.
