
Benzema: "Happy to Be with Al-Hilal, See You Soon"
Frenchman Karim Benzema expressed his delight at joining Saudi club Al-Hilal, following his transfer from Al-Ittihad during the current winter transfer window.
Al-Hilal published a brief statement from Benzema on its official accounts, in which he said: "Hello to our fans, how are you? I am happy to be here with you."
The French star added: "I have just arrived from Jeddah to Riyadh, and I will see you soon, God willing. Peace."
Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat had reported that Karim Benzema officially moved to Al-Hilal on a one-and-a-half-year contract, extending until June 2027.
Benzema joined Al-Hilal on a one-and-a-half-season contract as a free agent, after terminating his association with his former club, Al-Ittihad.
