Al-Hilal Confirms Bono Thigh Injury Following AFCON Return

Saudi club Al-Hilal announced on Tuesday that their Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, is suffering from an injury following his return from participating with the Moroccan national team in the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

The club confirmed in an official statement that Bounou attended the "Mina" clinic at the team's headquarters, where he was diagnosed with an anterior thigh muscle injury sustained during his participation with the national team.

The statement added that the Moroccan goalkeeper would undergo an MRI scan today to determine the extent of the injury and the duration of his absence.

It is worth noting that Al-Hilal is scheduled to face Al-Fayha tomorrow, Thursday, in a match for the 17th round of the Roshn Saudi League, kicking off at 6:30 PM (GMT+1).
