Wydad AC's delegation has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo in anticipation of their crucial match against Maniema Union. The encounter is part of the fourth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Wydad AC reached the Congolese city of Lubumbashi in the early hours of Saturday morning, following a journey that commenced yesterday evening from Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca.
The "Red Castle" is scheduled to hold its final training session before the Maniema clash this afternoon at 14:00 (GMT+1) at the TP Mazembe Stadium. Additionally, coach Amine Benhachem will conduct a press conference alongside player Joseph Bakasu at 11:30 AM.
Wydad AC currently leads Group B with 9 points, three points clear of second-placed Maniema Union, who have 6 points. Tanzania's Azam FC sits in third with 3 points, while Nairobi United is at the bottom of the table without any points.
