Belgian Tom Saintfiet, coach of the Malian national team, has revealed the uncertainty surrounding his future with the "Eagles of Mali." He confirmed he does not know whether he will continue his duties or not, following the team's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025."

Saintfiet stated in an interview with RTBF channel: "Now, I have two months before the next gathering with my players in Mali, and so far, I have no clarity regarding my future with the national team."

He continued: "I am just waiting to know if I will continue as coach until then or not. I discovered online that the entire Malian Football Federation had resigned, but no one told me anything!"

He concluded: "As you know, I signed there a year and a half ago, and I have never received my salary regularly. Every five months, my agent has to contact them to get the payments."
