
CAF Appoints El Fariq to Refereeing Team for Senegal vs Mali AFCON Quarter-Final
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Moroccan Hamza El Fariq to the refereeing team for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match between Senegal and Mali.
El Fariq will serve as the second assistant in the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room, which will be led by Zimbabwean referee Brighton Chimene.
The match itself will be officiated by South African referee Abongile Tom, assisted by his compatriot Zakhele Siwela, along with Souru Phatsoane from Lesotho.
The game is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday, at the Grand Stade de Tanger, kicking off at 5:00 PM (GMT+1).
