Speaking as a guest on French channel "Canal Africa," Le Roy stated, "I believe the best team in this edition of the Africa Cup of Nations was Morocco."
He continued, "As for the best team in the final match, it was Senegal. Morocco expended a lot of energy against Nigeria, going into extra time, and perhaps they were slightly affected psychologically in the penalty shootout."
