Raja Fans Denied Entry to Rabat Stadium Despite Holding 500-Dirham Tickets in 'Strange' Incident

The vicinity of the City Stadium in Rabat witnessed a state of dissatisfaction among some Raja Club Athletic fans yesterday, Sunday, after they were denied access to the stands despite possessing official "VIP" tickets purchased from the dedicated ticketing website.

According to consistent sources, a number of supporters were surprised when private security company personnel refused them entry, citing an issue related to the type of tickets. This occurred despite the affected fans confirming they had completed their purchases normally, just minutes before the sales platform closed.

This situation raised questions about how "VIP" tickets were offered for sale at a high price, only for their sale to be later denied by officials from the host club. This further intensified the frustration among Raja fans, who felt they were negatively impacted by the organizational confusion.

In a subsequent development, urgent communications were made between components of Ittihad Touarga, which resulted in allowing the fans with the relevant tickets to enter the stadium, thus ending the tension that had prevailed. National security personnel stationed at the stadium gates had emphasized that Raja fans had the right to enter as long as they possessed official tickets.
