
Bammou: "Raja is a big team, and I'm satisfied with our performance despite playing 11 against 10"
Yassine Bammou, Ittihad Touarga player, expressed his feelings after the 1-1 draw against Raja Club Athletic in the ninth round of the Professional League, affirming that the team delivered a good performance despite the difficulties of the first half of the season.
Yassine Bammou stated, "We know very well that Raja is a big team. However, we respect everyone, whether they are in the last or first positions; we fear no one. We play to win. Today we achieved a 1-1 draw, and I believe it's a good result because we earned a point and are moving forward."
He added, "We went through a difficult first half of the season, but today I am proud of all the staff and every player who participated. I believe we will show a different face in the second half of the season, God willing."
Regarding the match atmosphere and the stadium, he further commented, "It's an impressive stadium. It's one of the AFCON stadiums, a European-level pitch, and I think it will help us. There's a great atmosphere and good pitches, and there's nothing but joy for what's to come."
He continued, "Today, the Touarga team showed a different face. The first phase of the season was not easy, but today we faced Raja, a big team in Morocco, and I believe all the players were up to the task."
