Argentina to Face Qatar in Friendly as Part of Qatar Football Festival
Argentina, holders of both the World Cup and Copa América titles, are preparing to play a friendly match against Qatar on March 31 at Lusail Stadium. This encounter follows Argentina's "Finalissima" clash against European champions Spain, held at the same venue four days prior.
The match is part of the Qatar Football Festival 2026, scheduled to take place from March 26 to 31. The festival is also set to feature other national teams, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Serbia, alongside hosts Qatar.
In this context, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, stated: "We look forward to welcoming players and fans from all over the world. It is an honor for us to open our doors once again to the global football community."
The festival aims to prepare the participating teams for the upcoming World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Travel package tickets will be available starting February 1, while individual match tickets will go on sale on February 25.
