Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan national team's right-back, expressed his immense joy at reaching the Africa Cup of Nations final. He lauded the significant support the "Atlas Lions" received from Moroccan fans, who strongly backed the team throughout their journey in the continental tournament.

Following the Moroccan team's qualification for the final, Hakimi stated: "We thank the Moroccan fans who supported and encouraged us in all matches since the start of the tournament."

He continued: "We give everything we have on the pitch, and today we rose to the occasion and delivered a great performance. We will play in the final, a stage Morocco has been absent from for a long time, and we dedicate this qualification to King Mohammed VI."

He concluded: "We know that if it comes to a penalty shootout, we have the best goalkeeper for such situations, and we are very happy to have him with us."
