Nasser Sanjak, former coach of the Algerian national team, described the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash between Morocco and Nigeria as an evenly matched game, with a clear advantage for the host nation.
Speaking to "Afrik-Foot", Sanjak stated: "Morocco received an additional 24 hours of rest, which is a crucial factor in a major tournament like this."
He added, referring to the Atlas Lions: "They are gaining momentum and drawing strength from the support of an entire country; the fans will be behind them," emphasizing the importance of fan support in Rabat.
Sanjak also highlighted the competitive nature of the anticipated match, saying: "Nigeria will pose a challenge for them, that's for sure, but I believe the Atlas Lions are the favorites."
