Moroccan National Team Faces Fiery Test Against Nigeria, Eyes Africa Cup Final

The Moroccan national team will face their Nigerian counterparts on Wednesday in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, aiming to secure a spot in the final match.

Their second semi-final clash was in 1980, which Nigeria won with an early goal scored by Felix Owolabi, subsequently paving their way to their first African title.

The teams met again in the group stage in 2000, where Nigeria secured a (2-0) victory with goals from Finidi George and Julius Aghahowa. Their last encounter was in the 2004 edition, when Morocco triumphed (1-0) with a goal by Youssouf Hadji in the 77th minute of the opening match of Group D.
