Egypt's Yasser Ibrahim: 'Opponents Fear Us More Now'

Yasser Ibrahim, defender for the Egyptian national team, asserted that opponents now fear facing the "Pharaohs" more during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Ibrahim stated: "I urge Egyptian fans to trust the national team; any opponent now fears Egypt more. These types of matches are decided, not just played. It wasn't good to concede two goals; we must focus on the next match."

He added: "The Senegal national team is strong, and we know them well. We will work to study them precisely to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and we always need the support and prayers of the Egyptian fans."

The Egyptian national team secured its spot in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals after defeating Ivory Coast 3-2, setting up a clash with Senegal in the next round.
